Composition and Drug Action
Botox treatment is popularly used for medical purposes thanks to its beneficial composition:
- Botulinum toxin type A (hemagglutinin) – 100 U;
- Human plasma albumin – 500 mcg;
- Sodium Chloride (NaCl) – 900 mcg.
When injecting Botox 100IU European, it paralyzes the nerve endings, and the spasms caused by those nerves are stopped. Without the contractions, the skin smoothes out, mimic wrinkles erase, and the deep creases become less noticeable.
Botulinum Toxin Substance Appearance in the Vial of Botox
Please be aware that the Regular Botox vial may seems to be empty before reconstitution. However, it contains small amount of crystals composed of nearly transparent microscopic proteins of botulinum toxin. When viewed under light, you may observe fine, delicate crystals. These crystals become visible after mixing with sterile saline for further Botox injections.
